Members of the MIRAD microwave team participated in the European Space Agency’s (ESA) 9th International Workshop on Telemetry, Tracking and Command (TT&C). The conference was held at ESA’s Space Research and Technology Center (ESTEC) in Noordwijk, the Netherlands, from November 28 to December 1, 2022. MIRAD submitted two technical papers to the conference and gave the corresponding presentations in the sessions “Ground Systems Technology II” and “Ground Systems Technology III”.
Many thanks to the TT&C committee for the good and smooth organization and to all participants and interested readers and listeners who are interested in our work of the last years.
The topic for our two conference paper were:
“S-/X-/K-Multiband Feedsystem with Monopulse Tracking Capability to Support TT&C Satellite Missions as well as Future Lunar and Lagrange Point missions”
and
“On the Design of the Feed System and Critical Waveguide Components for the 80 kW High Power Upgrade for ESA Deep Space Antennas”
The TT&C 2022 was a great event and it was nice to meet old familiar faces, but also to get to know new people and have an interesting exchange of ideas about the latest trends in satellite communications. It’s always great to see how the segment and the market are constantly evolving.
